Armed with a collection of edgy grunge riffs and haunting atmospheric melodies, Paper Soldiers formed in early 2009. The band set about writing and recording from the word go, and were soon performing shows and making radio appearances over the UK during 2009/2010 before going into an enforced hiatus.
In 2011 the band returned to scene with new line up, and a shift in direction, hitting the road with a heavier tighter combination the band continued where it had left off going on to release its debut EP “Free” in 2012 and receiving radio air play of its single “Right Where I Belong”.
Now in 2013, under the guidance of founding member Rob Slusar, the band moves into the next stage of its existence, returning to the original ethos of concentrating on the music rather than the image and is already writing with plans to release a new CD in the spring/summer with the possibility of shows to follow.
